An award and a tidbit of news...

Blogs that receive the Let’s Be Friends Award are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers.

I choose to give this award to:
1.) The Tainted Poet (you're sweet, your site is awesome and you're willing to help me out despite the fact that I'm technologically inept.)
2.) The Bloody Bookaholic (You are one funny girl. The Penguin...really?! xD)
3.) EatSleepDanceRead (you were the first to ever acknowledge my site. So of course I have to thank you!)
4.) LiyanaLand! (your site is quirky and wonderful.)
5.) Saph (you only just recently got a blog but I've been lucky enough to get to know you in real life and really, you don't seem to get how cool you are!)
6.) Reading Rocks (I admire your reviewing skills immensely)
7.) The Book Junkie (your site is just so lovely)
8.)The Book Bunny (your taste in books is different and I enjoy reading your reviews. Most of the book blogs around seem to neglect certain styles of novels and you mention them often. I respect that!)

Ahhh, ok. I picked out my eight nominees and now, onto some news I've come across. BEFORE I FORGET, if anyone wants to enter a contest to win a copy of Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles, I'd suggest you skedaddle on over to EatSleepDanceRead to enter; Perfect Chemistry's supposed to be amazing, and I don't doubt it. And.... know what E. Lockhart (author of The Ruby Oliver books) said on Myspace?
Here's her post!: Free ARCs of my new book to Book Bloggers only
If you are, and you'd like to have an ARC of The Treasure Map of Boys (in stores July 25th) my publisher wants to send you one! You're under no obligation to blog about it.You're under no obligation to say you like it. They just want the extra ARCs in the hands of people who care about YA books and talk about them on the internet. The Treasure Map of Boys is the third in my series of Ruby Oliver books. The first two are The Boyfriend List and The Boy Book, both out in paperback. The Treasure Map will be a lot more enjoyable if you've read the first two. What to do: Between now and June 20th, send an email to me at elockhart @ earthlink.net. Give your name, snail mail address, and the URL of your blog. I'll forward everything to Random House PR, and they'll send you an ARC. More info about the book on my website.E. Lockhart www.e-lockhart.com

I already sent in my e-mail! What are you waiting for?! Go go go!

That Free ARC thing looks really cool! That's a pretty good idea for an author to do. I hope that you enjoy it, if you get it... haha, you'll get to read it before most other people do!~

Oh, and congrats on one more follower. XD (I think. Or did I lose count?)
