In My Mailbox 21

So... I bought some more books this week. Normally I can resist purchasing books but when I walked into a Barnes & Noble and it had a 50% off clearance for EVERY single type of book you could think of, well, you can imagine what happened next. There were TABLES of books, with everything marked on discount. My stomach started doing circles because I. was. exhilirated. Of course I looked at EVERY SINGLE table. For the whole time I spent sifting, I ended up buying these:

There was a lot to choose from, even YA books (which is so rare!) but I decided to be rational and buy books that I haven't had the chance to read. Many of the books that were on sale I know I can get from the library...or from friends.  So I didn't buy them. I left them for other obsessive readers to find. Let them be surprised ;)

Again, I went to the city. Again I went to Strand's. Here's what I got:

All of these (except Love Under Cover) are ARCs. I admit, I have NO IDEA what Pride/Prejudice is about but I saw it, I liked it, I bought it. End of story. ;D

Received in the mail:

I was fortunate enough to have won Freaksville through LeapBooks. As for Deadtown... I didn't expect it. At all. I'm not even sure how I got it! But it was a lovely surprise and it's signed too :)

  1. 50 percent off? There's no way you could have possibly resisted. Amazon recommended Pride/Prejudice to me the other day, and when I read the summary on there, I was like, SAY WHAT?? It definitely is something I've never really imagined before with P&P.

The Lonely Hearts club sounds really cool. You know the author is having a twitter party on Wednesday with prizes?

Man, you got a lotta books this week. I don't even have anything to IMM because I'm reading through my own stuff right now.

  9. Eternal Kiss. Vampires. *sigh* I need to read more vampires. I don't know what it is, but they hold my intertest like no other. Especially if they're the scary vamps. ;)

  19. Yeah, I'm pretty lucky in that my dad likes looking at books almost as much as I do. xD

Will you do a review on the Eternal Kiss or would that be too hard with reviewing a book with multiple stories in it?
