Waiting on Wednesday (the early edition...)

Nikki Donovan, Demon Princess, is back--and stuck in a love triangle that's straight out of hell! Fresh from finding out that she is a demon princess, fighting her aunt for her life, and rescuing her father from being poisoned, Nikki Donovan is looking forward to getting back to her regular high school life. But when Rhys, the handsome king of the faery realm, decides to show up at her school as a "foreign exchange student," Nikki knows this won't be possible. Couple with this a whole host of other problems: there's a new prophecy that claims she will destroy everyone. Her conflicted feelings for Rhys and her boyfriend, Michael, are getting in the way of their relationship. Her best friend Melinda just might be a demon-slayer-in-training, and her old crush Chris might know of her demon side. Throw in a field trip to none other than Hell itself … and Nikki's going to be hoping for a rain check on more than just her homework!

Seventeen-year-old Teagan McNeel falls for captivating Garreth Adams and soon discovers that her crush has an eight-point star etched into the palm of his right hand-the mark of an angel. But where there is light, dark follows, and she and Garreth suddenly find themselves vulnerable to a dark angel's malicious plan that could threaten not only her life, but the lives of everyone she knows. Divinely woven together, Angel Star takes readers on a reflective journey when one angel's sacrifice collides with another angel's vicious ambition in a way that is sure to have readers searching for their own willpower.

Unsettling. There’s no better word to describe Miranda Barnes’s ability to hear the cries of the dead, feel the wind move her hair when they run by, and—dare she look into a mirror—see the reflection of a ghostly woman behind her. There’s only one person to turn to for support: Etienne. As sexy as he is mysterious, Miranda can’t help but be drawn to him. He believes her; he wants to help her. But there’s a secret in Etienne’s past, something Miranda’s on the verge of discovering. As paranormal activity escalates, passion grows, and soon Miranda is caught up in both love . . . and tragedy.

I am waiting for many, many books. I read the first book in the Demon Princess series a few days ago; I was just going to read a few sentences...but I ended up gobbling the book in two days! So a review's in order. ;)! As for the other two, I've seen them on WoWs from other bloggers and after reading the summaries.... I'm curious! They sound good and hopefully they will be.

  1. Hey. All those books look great- I especially like the sound of Angel Star. By the way, I'm back blogging again, but instead of using my intials, ROCS, I'm Rachel Star.

  3. I don't know why, but "early edition" made me giggle. Maybe I should have slept more or something, hehe. ANYWAYS, great picks! Angel Star sounds like an interesting angel read, and I hope the whole "sexy, mysterious bad boy with a secret" gets pulled off well in Shadow Mirror. :P
