Cass can’t take a summer of swallowing her pride and painting sets, so she decides to follow her original plan for a cross-country road trip with Julia. Even if she has a touring bicycle instead of a driver’s license, and even if Julia’s ashes are coming along in Tupperware. Totally Sweet Ninja Death Squad is a story about friendship. About love. About traveling a thousand miles just to find yourself. About making peace with the past, and making sense of it. And it’s a story about the bloodiest high school musical one quiet suburb has ever seen. Release Date: June 2010
Totally Sweet Ninja Death Squad? Tupperware? I have got to read this.

The further Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim bloodline has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine? Release Date: November 16, 2010
At first glance I loved this cover. However, I don't think it beats Hush, hush's cover (because really, what else beats a shirtless Patch? *drool*) but it's quite breath-taking on its own. I like that it has a bloodred feather in the image; I imagine that Nora's staring back at the storm and thinking about what's going to happen with her and Patch. :) OH, and look! Marcie Millar's mentioned in the summary! I KNEW she didn't just randomly disappear from the first book--she had to show up eventually ;P
Nightshade has a fantastic cover! it looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteNightshade's cover is so amazing I would buy it just to sit on my shelf even if I thought I wouldn't like it. Fortunately it sounds great!
ReplyDeleteCalla sounds like a kick ass MC! The cover is definitely... Interesting. Slightly spooky to me.
ReplyDeleteCrescendooo! I can't wait. I agree with you on the cover. I love the lightning. It's all BAM! Or something like that. :D
Nightshade, another one to add to my wish list. And Crescendo! Another great cover!
ReplyDeleteNightshade sounds downright creepy! And "A Love Story..." sounds amazing - will have to look into these two books more.
ReplyDeleteI love the Love Story cover. So cute! So road trippy.
ReplyDeleteThey all look so great! I cant wait to read those books. :)
ReplyDeleteNightshade's summary alone gives me the creeps! I think I'll pass on that one (unless you read it and find out that it's amazing, haha.) The cover is gorgeous, though.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of A Love Story Staring my Best Friend before. Sounds good and it has a great cover! Excellent choices I would say :)
