I love Fed-Ex.

I might just write them a love song. xD

I heard this loud knock on my door, and being me, I hide because...no one comes to my house. Ever. I might as well be a teenage hermit. I peeked through my window and saw the Fed-Ex truck and I thought, IS IT MY LAPTOP?! *ordered one a few days ago* So I waited while the mean-faced fed-ex man drove away and I opened my door seeing a tiny tan lump sitting on my steps. I ripped into it and unearthed my promised copy of Airhead by Meg Cabot! *happy dance* my first contest where I ever won a free book over at Chick Lit Teens! Head over there sometime and try your luck! :] That's not all I wanted to post about though. I went over to ZAC's blog and found another announcement:

Nine authors will be at Books of Wonder in New York City on Saturday July 25th, from 2pm to 4pm.
Participating Authors:
Lauren Barnholdt, author of Two-Way Street
Sarah Cross, author of Dull Boy
Erin Dionne, author of Models Don't Eat Chocolate Cookies

Julie Linker, author of Crowned, Disenchanted Princess
Sarah MacLean, author of The Season
Mari Mancusi, author of Boys that Bite, Girls that Growl, Stake That!, Gamer Girl and others

Ah, I love the world of books. Don't you?

  3. Goodness. I can't even remember the last time someone knocked on my door. Airhead sounds like a cool book! I haven't read anything by Meg Cabot either. She does sound like a good author, from what I've heard.

Skye is the girl that has gone to the same school as Clay. She withdrew from everyone else from an early age. Clay reaching out to her at he end of the book was to show that he was using his experience with Hannah to make sure he didn't allow that to happen to anyone else he knew. She was on the bus with him, remember? :)
