For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn tohim against her better judgement.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answer, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the midddle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallenand, when it comes to choosingsides, the wrongchoice will cost her life.
Mark Hopper is the smartest student in the sixth grade, and he knows it. When another Mark Hopper moves to town (the same age, with similar looks), Mark Hoppe rmakes trouble for Mark Hopper. The Mark everyone knows isn't very nice, so the other Mark finds no one will talk to him. The new Mark isn't very brainy, so the other Mark worries that people will think he's a dummy. When a teacher forces them to be study partners, they realize that they can benefit from one another's strengths-and maybe win the Mastermind Challenge together. Trouble is, one of the Marks wants to win so badly he's willing to steal from Mark.
So surprised to find both these in the mail. I'm psyched that I finally got Hush Hush and I'm curious to read about these two Marks. I'm guessing the meaner, smarter Mark is the one on the left side with the angry check mark of an eyebrow xD
It does look like a check mark doesn't it? I've only heard good things about Hush, Hush so hopefully you will enjoy it.
