Since I've been focusing on getting through my TBR pile, I've resisted the temptation of going to the library or dropping by a B&N. Which hasn't been easy... but I've managed. I've learned to ignore the gift card that's burning a hole in my purse from not being used.... (it's been calling out to me but no, I shall resist!) But once I get through my pile, I intend on ordering me some books! And Beautiful Creatures might be one of them. ;) I also keep debating on whether I should buy books that I've already read... would you buy a book that you've already read? (Assuming that it was really good, of course. Why would I want to buy a book that I thought sucked?)
Oh, and guess what? I have a button! Melanie was kind enough to make it for me. What do you all think of it? :)
I'm looking forward to this book as well. Sounds amazing! I've never seen the Marie-Antionette movie with Kirsten Dunst, but I don't think I can picture her in that roll. By the way, what day is your b-day?

ReplyDeleteI completely understand your reluctance to buy anymore. For the last year I've banned myself from buying books until my TBR is empty. I wouldn't buy books I've already read because I know I'll be like, 'Oh, well, it's new copy so I have to read it again. Add to the TBR.' :P
