In My Mailbox 28

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme where you get to show off all the cool books you receive! This meme was inspired by Alea and memefied by Kristi.
From the library:

Synopsis: For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

From Around The World Tours:

Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Vanessa Sands is afraid of everything—the dark, heights, the ocean—but her fearless older sister, Justine, has always been there to coach her through every challenge. That is, until Justine goes cliff-diving one night near the family’s vacation house in Maine, and her lifeless body washes up on shore the next day. Though her parents hope that they’ll be able to find closure back in Boston, Vanessa can’t help feeling that her sister’s death wasn’t an accident.

After discovering that Justine was keeping a lot of secrets, Vanessa returns to Winter Harbor, hoping that Justine’s boyfriend might know more. But Caleb has been missing since Justine’s death. Soon, it’s not just Vanessa who’s afraid. All of Winter Harbor is abuzz with anxiety when another body washes ashore, and panic sets in when the small town becomes host to a string of fatal, water-related accidents in which all the victims are found, horrifically, grinning from ear to ear. Vanessa turns to Caleb’s brother, Simon, for help, and begins to find herself drawn to him. As the pair try to understand the sudden rash of creepy drownings, Vanessa uncovers a secret that threatens her new romance—and will change her life forever.

Just two books this week but I'm so excited that I have Shiver. Everyone I know has told me to read it and finally I WILL. Siren (which has the longest summary I've ever seen) is my last tour book. I've been resisting joining any more ARC tours even though I've been tempted... but I have to say I'm glad I haven't joined any new tours.* Less stress to deal with, you know?

So that's all I have this week! What's in your mailbox?

*I'm being much more selective now. Although if Karen Kincy's Other shows up on ANY tour site I will be all over that like white on bread. I want to read that book SO BADLY. O_O

  2. Glad to see you're on the path to recovery from our Tour Addiction. ;P I can't say the same; although I have temporarily put it on a hold, I can't make any promises.

Shiver is still #1 on my TBR- I can't wait to hear what you think! Darn school and its time-stealing abilities. :/

  4. So jealous of that Siren! I stopped joining tours also, unless there's a book I can't live without showing on there. xD I can't afford going to the PO every single week, especially since the mail clerk keeps on wondering why I go alone because of my age...-.-

    Shiver was amazing! :p
