ReplyDeleteI knew some of the history she mentioned, my dad is a history buff (history of war and combat in particular) so I knew some of it, but Ruta did mention some things I didn't know. It's just one of those things that makes your heart ache, I think.

I'm going crazy wanting to read this book and that video was just so...Wow! I have a bit of a thing for WWII era and this book sounds right up my alley and that cover is GORGEOUS. I think this is going to be a very powerful read. Thanks for posting.

Goosebumps. This sounds like the kind of book I need to read, yet I always hesitate because I know it's going to tear my heart out.
