  3. I knew some of the history she mentioned, my dad is a history buff (history of war and combat in particular) so I knew some of it, but Ruta did mention some things I didn't know. It's just one of those things that makes your heart ache, I think.

  7. I'm going crazy wanting to read this book and that video was just so...Wow! I have a bit of a thing for WWII era and this book sounds right up my alley and that cover is GORGEOUS. I think this is going to be a very powerful read. Thanks for posting.

    Yes, my comment system is sooo good. I'm loving it. It isn't that hard to install. If you'd like, I can help you go through it. I think it's easier to reply to others and easier to get replies from others (by subscribing/etc). and it's quicker too! No need for the verification thingies. :D

  10. Goosebumps. This sounds like the kind of book I need to read, yet I always hesitate because I know it's going to tear my heart out.

    I remember the first time I learned of another genocide besides the Holocaust, that of the Armenians, and I remember wondering how such atrocities could be so easily forgotten.
